Screen Door Potting Bench

1-DSCN6391I actually made this potting bench a few years ago. At the time I really loved it, but it always seemed too big for the enclosed porch where I had it. I finally decided it was time to restyle and sell it.

4-DSCN6420I removed the chicken wire screen from the back and the hooks from the front so they weren’t in the way while I repainted.

3-DSCN6418Then I painted.

2-DSCN6416I decided to mix some almost empty paint cans from my overflowing paint closet. I think I mixed about 10 different colors.

I love the resulting color. Thankfully my mixing made a lot, because I could never replicate it.

9-DSCN6437It’s kinda blue…and kinda green…and kinda gray. Oh, I also tossed in some P of P while I was at it.

7-DSCN6435I dry brushed white over everything, then reattached the chicken wire and the hooks.

6-DSCN6434Enjoy!
