A lot of you have messaged, commented and emailed me asking for the mini crocheted teddy bear tutorial.
Woo Hoo! It has been published. You can find it here.
If you do not want to make your own, I do have them for sale in my Etsy shop.
Have you ever wondered what you can do with those old vinyl albums? Even if you are a collector, I am sure you have a few scratched or warped ones that will never sound the same as they did when they were new. Then again, thrift stores and yard sales are practically giving them away, so you don’t even have to disturb your own rockin’ stash for a fun crafting experience.
Check out one of my newest tutorials on FaveCrafts.
You may remember my record album coaster post from a few months ago. You can find it here.
That project only used the inner label portion of the albums, but don’t toss out the rest.
The roses use the playable portion of the album. Waste not, want not. 😉 Two projects with one album. Win, win!
You can find the record rose tutorial here.
The tutorial for my Country Rag Boa Wreath can be found HERE.
A few years ago I purchased a huge barrel at an auction for $1. It was full of old wool suits and dresses. I have been attempting to make use of the variety of colors and textures since I bought it, and the pile inside the barrel is slowly going down. The barrel is currently in a storage unit across town, but while moving I grabbed a bunch of wool to play with.
Trim is also something I have an over abundance of. The handles were made from bias tape and I hand-stitched rickrack around the top edge using floss.
The tutorial for these little bags has now been published on FaveCrafts.
You can find the tutorial here.
