More Crochet In Etsy Shop

I’ve been doing a lot of re-stocking in my Etsy shop lately. That has been one of my goals for 2015 and so far I have been able to keep up with it.

These listings just happen to be crochet items. Crochet just seems to draw me in when the weather is cold. Maybe it’s time to change it up a bit. Who knows, maybe a few projects using different mediums will cause the weather to shift toward spring. ;0

Enjoy!

Chenille Bunnies and Chicks

April 7, 2014 by Cyndee 1 Comment

49-DSCF0781Since moving I have had to utilize every possible empty space for storing my crafts and craft supplies. That included the space under my son’s bed. He’s away at college so I figured he wouldn’t mind. 😉 This last week I was going through some containers under the bed and I came across a WIP box of chenille bunnies and chicks that I had made a few years ago.

48-DSCF0759The items in the box were a variety of pre-cut and pre-sewn pieces, along with the other craft supplies needed to complete them. Since Easter is still two weeks away I decided to make them and take them to the store where I sell them locally.

52-DSCF0789I have a tutorial for the chick that can be found here.

Just a few recently finished projects.

Bunny Head Bowl Fillers
These are made using tea-dyed chenille

Star Bowl Fillers
Also made from tea-dyed chenille. Wrapped with lace and suede strip.

Rag Dolls
These are one-of-a-kind.

The red headed dolls are 18 inches tall.

The brunettes are 15 inches tall.

Favor Bags

The appliques were shabby stitched to the fronts using a variety of scrap fabrics and shapes.

Apples
Made using quilt scraps.

Pears
Made using quilt scraps.

Owl Bowl Fillers
This is a new design using quilt scraps. I’ll post the tutorial link when it has been published.

Crochet Flower Appliques
Approximately 2 inches in diameter. Just a little something to add to a hat, tote, clothing, gift wrap…

New Craft Projects for Spring

March 4, 2012 by Cyndee 3 Comments

I’ve been working on projects to sell at my local store.

Bowl fillers are popular and help to fill the store shelves. No pun intended.

Primitive Sunflowers

Crows

Quilted Hearts and Bunnies

As requested. A better photo of the quilted bunny.

Chenille Carrots

Long Chenille Flag Pillows

Primitive Clothespin Bags

Barn Cats

“Stoned” Chickens

I also have a dresser, chair and windows in the works, but they aren’t quite ready for their reveal.
