Since moving I have had to utilize every possible empty space for storing my crafts and craft supplies. That included the space under my son’s bed. He’s away at college so I figured he wouldn’t mind. 😉 This last week I was going through some containers under the bed and I came across a WIP box of chenille bunnies and chicks that I had made a few years ago.
The items in the box were a variety of pre-cut and pre-sewn pieces, along with the other craft supplies needed to complete them. Since Easter is still two weeks away I decided to make them and take them to the store where I sell them locally.
Squeezable and adorable.
I have a tutorial for the chick that can be found here.
Last week I posted new things in my Etsy Shop. One of those ‘new things’ was my stuffed crocheted chicks.
While I would love to sell them, I also know there are crafty fingers that would like to make their own. Maybe you would like to experiment with other pastel colors. Wouldn’t they be cute in all of the marshmallow Peep colors?
Guess what? I’m a giver. If you would like to curl up on a cold evening and crochet your own, the tutorial for my crocheted chicks was posted on FaveCrafts this week.
With the flash not working on my camera I have had to rely on sunny weather for my photo ops. Of course today I was ready to take pics for these Etsy listings and I woke up to rainy weather. Finally the clouds parted this afternoon and I was locked and loaded.
These Carrot Bowl Fillers were made using a dyed chenille bedspread.
The Primitive Barn Kitties were made from corduroy scraps.
Crocheted Chicks were made using my newest crochet pattern. Oh yeah, I also listed more Scrappy Tags the other day. They seem to be moving fast once again. Who knew? Enjoy!
