Rope Photo Garland

16-DSCN6066Rope Photo Garland

I’m almost embarrassed to call this a tutorial. It was so simple, but it made a big impact on the decor of my son’s graduation party.

27-DSCN6081I used ordinary household rope. I bought this rope at Walmart. It was in the aisle where the clotheslines and clothespins are.

26-DSCN6080Blue fabric was ripped into 1-inch wide by 12-inch long strips. The strips were tied around the rope and spaced approximately 4-inches apart.

28-DSCN6082I made a print of each of my son’s senior pictures. I clipped the photos to the garland using clothespins.

31-DSCN6086Simple or not, I love the way it turned out.

Enjoy!
